This Refund Policy (“Policy”) sets out the terms and conditions governing refunds in relation to the services, programs, and offerings made available by Nxtwave Disruptive Technologies Private Limited (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”), under the NxtWave of Innovation in Advanced Technologies (“NIAT”) (formerly known as NxtWave Institute of Advanced Technologies) initiative, including the Academy On-Campus program (“Program”).  


This Policy forms an integral part of and is to be read together with Our Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Capitalised terms not defined herein shall have the same meaning ascribed to them in the Terms. In case of any dispute or inconsistency, the Terms shall prevail over the Policy. 


By purchasing or subscribing to the Program or Services, You (“User”, “You”, “Your”) acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy. If You are a minor, references to “User” shall include Your parent/legal guardian. 


  1. General Principle

    All Program Fees payable to the Company, including the Program Registration / Seat Reservation Fee and the Upskilling Fee, are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, in accordance with the Terms. 
    Refunds shall only be permitted in the limited circumstances expressly set out in this Policy and subject always to the Terms. 


  2. General Principle of Non-Refundability 

    Once purchased, Services cannot be cancelled by the User. Any full or partial refund requests or Service cancellation requests shall not be entertained for reasons, including but not limited to: 

    (i) Requests based on a change in personal preference, lack of continued interest, or any decision to discontinue participation in the Program. 

    (ii) Non-usage or partial usage of Services after enrolment, including failure to attend sessions, complete modules, or access Program content. 
    (iii) Dissatisfaction with subjective aspects such as perceived quality of content, pace of delivery, mentorship style, peer group engagement, or learning outcomes.
    (iv) Inability to access the Program due to the User’s device incompatibility, insufficient system configuration, lack of required software, or outdated hardware. 
    (v) Connectivity issues, unstable internet connection, firewall restrictions, or network failures at the User’s end. 
    (vi) Inability to participate due to User’s failure to meet admission or eligibility requirements prescribed by NxtWave or its partner institutions. 
    (vii) Where the User is expelled, suspended, or terminated from the Program due to: violation of the Terms, Code of Conduct, or any other NxtWave policy; misconduct, dishonesty, plagiarism, or fraudulent activity; or harassment, disruptive behaviour, or breach of law or university/college/partner institution rules.
    (viii) If enrolment is terminated due to delayed, partial, or non-payment of Program Fees (including EMIs or instalments under third-party financing arrangements). 
    (ix) Any payments made to individuals, employees, agents, or third parties outside the official Company-prescribed channels (such as NxtWave’s authorised payment gateways or bank accounts) shall not be considered valid. 

    In such cases, no portion of the Program Fee and Service Fee shall be refunded, regardless of the duration of the Program already completed. All Services are provided strictly on an “as is” basis, in accordance with the Terms.


  3. Communication Channel

    For any queries related to refunds, contact us at niatsupport@nxtwave.co.in from Your registered email address associated with the Program enrolment. Requests raised through any other mode (including phone, WhatsApp, or verbal communication) shall not be considered valid. 

    The User may be contacted for clarification or to provide additional documents, which must be submitted within five (5) working days of such request. Failure to provide timely information may result in closure of the query. The Company’s decision on refund eligibility shall be final, conclusive, and binding. No appeals or reconsideration requests shall be entertained, except through the Grievance Redressal mechanism specified below. Refunds, if approved, shall be processed only to the original payment source (e.g., same bank account, card, or wallet) within thirty (30) working days of approval. No refunds will be issued in cash or to third-party accounts. The refund amount will be net of any applicable taxes, statutory deductions, transaction charges, or processing fees. 


  4. Grievance Redressal

    For concerns relating to this Policy or any refund decision, You may reach out to Our Grievance Officer at the details published on Our website. The Grievance Officer shall acknowledge complaints within seven (7) working days and endeavour to resolve them within thirty (30) days of receipt. The Grievance Officer’s role is limited to verifying compliance with this Policy and applicable law. This mechanism does not entitle the User to any additional rights or remedies beyond those expressly set out herein.   


  5. Amendments

    The Company reserves the unilateral right to modify, amend, or update this Policy at any time without prior notice to the Users. The updated Policy shall become effective upon publication on Our website. Continued use of the Services post such changes shall be deemed as acceptance of the revised Policy.
