What are the eligibility criteria for admission to the universities where NIAT’s upskilling program is offered?

The NIAT team conducts assessments and counselling sessions to understand your skills, interests, and aptitude. Then we recommend the most suitable university where NIAT upskilling programs are offered, based on your preferences. To get admission to the university, students should meet the eligibility criteria and follow the admission policies established by the university. The admission is solely at the discretion of the university.

How can I apply for admission counselling from NIAT?

Here’s how you can apply in 4 simple steps: **Step 1: Submit The NAT Application Form** – Go to the admissions page on our website, fill out the NAT (NxtWave Admission-counselling Test) application form, and pay a ₹1200 (non-refundable) registration fee to proceed. **Step 2: Take the NAT** – A 90-minute online test designed to assess problem-solving, critical thinking, and mathematical abilities. **Step 3: Attend the Counselling Session** – Once you qualify for NAT, you’ll be invited for a one-on-one counselling session to discuss your goals. Based on your performance and preferences, you will be suggested a suitable university collaborating with NIAT. **Step 4: Confirm Your Admission** – Apply to your preferred university where NIAT upskilling program is offered. The university will process your admission following its eligibility criteria and admission policies. The admission is solely at the discretion of the university as per UGC and AICTE norms.

The NAT (NxtWave Admission-counselling Test) is a 90-minute online test that evaluates your problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and mathematical abilities. Yes, NAT is mandatory to receive admission counselling from NIAT.

What is the syllabus for the NAT?

NAT consists of three sections: 1. **Psychometric Test** (44 questions | 25 minutes) – Evaluates your behavioural strengths and cognitive adaptability. No right or wrong answers, just answer honestly. 2. **Critical Thinking & Learnability** (20 questions | 30 minutes) – Covers logical reasoning, analytical skills, and problem-solving. Topics include Number Theory, Ratios, Time & Work, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, and Reading Comprehension. 3. **Mathematics** (18 questions | 35 minutes) – Focuses on core math concepts from high school and competitive exams. Topics include Sets, Polynomials, Progressions, Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability, Permutations & Combinations.
