Step 1
Submit the NAT Application Form Online
• Fill out your details
• Pay ₹1200* as registration fee (non-refundable)
Step 2
NAT is a 90-minute test designed to evaluate your cognitive abilities and potential as a future tech innovator. Here's the breakdown:
Test Format:
• Psychometric Test (30 minutes): 25 questions to gauge personality and emotional traits
• Aptitude (30 minutes): 18 questions testing analytical and adaptive skills and adaptive skills
• Mathematics (30 minutes): 17 questions focusing on practical problem-solving
Step 3
• Once you qualify for NAT, you’ll be invited for a one-on-one counselling session to discuss your goals.
• Based on your performance in NAT and preferences expressed in the counselling session, you will be suggested a university collaborating with NIAT, that best suits your needs.
Step 4
• Apply to your preferred university where NIAT upskilling program is offered.
• The University will process your admission following its established eligibility criteria and admission policies.
• The admission is solely at the discretion of the university as per UGC and AICTE norms.
Hostel accommodations at NIAT collaborating universities are managed directly by the respective university. Some hostels are located on campus, and some are thoughtfully arranged off campus in safe, nearby facilities
Completed 12th grade with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry in 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026
Studied under ICSE, CBSE, or any recognized board
